The Print or Online news industry has progressed a lot over the years, most of which has not been in their favour Thanks to the internet
-print or online media will typically take several hours or days to be published and released whereas the internet provides social platforms that allow people to recieve information updates almost instantaneously; as a result the print news companies are faced with the challenge of publishing in depth articles in real time.
– The Print and Online news industry can no longer undervalue their writers for gear if them opting to publish Content as an independant news source on the internet in the form of a blog or influencer; This furthermore forces Print news companies to increase wages for their writers and increase incentive for them to work with said companies.
The Print and Online news industry will now have to compete with news channels on the internet for advertisment revenews; this will force print news to adapt and operate on a lower advertisment budget than they were originally used to.
